My model 29

Well here is one of those I've wanted it since I was a kid stories.Over the years I have wanted a Smith and Wesson Model 29 .44 magnum,I looked at several over the years either I didn't move fast enough,didn't have the money,or they were priced to high.This is the Dirty Harry gun except his had the 6 1/2" barrel,mine is the 8 3/8",since the reissue of the movie on DVD all model 29's have shot up in price,I found this one on gunbroker and the price was right,it was a 29-4 with target trigger,target hammer and Herret grips.Since alot of you are gun owners I thought I'd share it with you.

Sweet Model 29!

Recently, I almost purchased a 29-2 in Nickel 6.5" barrel.

The gun shop wouldn't move too much on the price $850!

I payed $550.00 for mine on gunbroker,it shoots nice and the blueing is great so I don't think I got hurt.
