Just became a member last night. Unfortunately I don't own a Roadrunner but a good friend of mine does who's not internet savy at all and is also not mechanically inclined what-so-ever. So I thought, "What the heck, I'll look for a forum and join."
I did though, come very clise to buying a brand new Roadrunner in 1969 after I came out of the Navy. If I did, I would still have it, because the car I did buy that year, I still have.

Anyway my buddy has this show stopping '69 Bahama Yellow Roadrunner with factory air. He had it restored in Georgia. Ocasionally he has had a few issues with it and so I volunteered to help if I can.

Welcome from Fl. Maybe after working on you friends you will get the bird ideas and have to have one also. Hope so love to see another person keeping the Plymouth roadrunner alive. Russ. :thumbsup2:

Welcome is am wondering what car did tou buy? Greetings from the netherlands
After going back and forth to dealerships in 1969...Plymouth to Chevy, Plymouth to Chevy; I finally decided on ordering a '69 Chevelle SS, 396, 4 spd. gold w/black vinyl roof, A/C, and many other options. Unfortunately, a month after I ordered it, I got a call from the dealership telling me they couldn't get my car!! Factory went on strike!!
Great...so I found a used '68 with 15,000 miles on it and bought it. It's still in the family and I'm restoring it for my oldest son. The only Mopar I have is my 2010 B-5 Blue Challenger, Hemi 6 spd. Love it!!

nice ride welcome from n.h.
Thanks. I wish it was mine. As I said, it belongs to a friend who unfortunately isn't very mechanically inclined or computer savvy. So I decided to join the forum in case I needed to gain some knowledge in order to help him out. So chances are I won't be on here too often. But it's a great forum. Lots of cool Roadrunners.

I don't know about that coolbreeze. Just admit that it is yours and don't want the wife to know. All men have secrets like the new fishing pole in the garage be hind a pile of junk.
