Oil Dip Stick

Need to put a new Dip stick in the 440 any tips any can share ,should I put any type of sealant on the end that goes into the block ??

I don't think it needs it. Had mine out recently to replace a motor mount and didn't use any when I put it back.

Sealant probably not needed, biggest problem is it is connected to motor mount bolt
