One for Stu..a 69 that wants to be a 70

Nope. Can't get my arms around that...

...but it does have a kick-a$$ set of shackles out back... :basketcase:

:jester:

Chipped bondo in the lower quarters. I'll bet someone scabbed on the quarters from a 70, cutting them below the detail on the upper 69 quarter. Figure on that being a mess that will have to be straightened out with new quarters (at least).

Can't say that I could get used to that. Purist or not. And what's up with the shackles?

What is that black cylinder looking thing on the firewall between the ballast resistor and the heater hoses?

That's where the heater blower would go, maybe this is some other type of aftermarket unit?

I thought in may be a heater motor too but I have never seen an externally mounted one before? May be I should look at an old JC Whitney catalog to see if they made a "one size fits all" external mounted heater motor?
