Hey guys,
I'm in the market for tires. Just picked up a set of 15x8.5 slot mags and
looking to get tires.

BFG Radial T/A is everywhere now, but if you have a preference for another
make / brand please share it.

I'm going black wall, if that makes a difference.

Let me know what you think.

Oh, I should add that I'm not interested in running street slicks on the car,
just a good everyday tire.

If your looking for regular street tires I have the Firestone Indy's I've been happy with those but if your looking for drag radials the Nitto's are very good I also had the M&H drag radials not as good as the Nitto's for traction but they lasted a little longer :cents:

Nothing wrong with the T/As for a street tire - I have them on the A12, the '74 Duster, and the Swinger. Not very sticky but they ride nicely...and you said that you're not looking for a drag radial... I have Firestone Indys on the green '70 Duster and they ride nicely too...but no idea on how sticky they are as that car has a leaning tower of power...

Thanks men, you brought up a few labels that escaped me a little.

Interesting comments on the Firestones giving more owner satisfaction
over BFG.

Ok, will now get to work...

I got Firestone Red Lines with Torq Thrust D's and they look good.

But when I get it ready to hammer on it I will put the MT Drag Radials on as I hve had good luck with them on the Swinger.
