on my 69 Roadrunner I am trying to determine what the factory original finish what have been for the interior floors and for under the seats to the frame of the seats and the springs. Based on knowing that, I will then decide what to do to reproduce it so it at least looks like original. Any thoughts?

It takes some patients to get that panel out, because of the instrument pad.
I always use a little Dawn detergent soap for lubricant in the corners for the radius switch panel.
And yes I see the remarks about rain down this. :shower:
Have fun with it.
Just my :cents:

The interior floors were of coarse dipped in primer with the lower portion of the car an over sprayed in color then seam sealer was applied. It all gets covered with carpet anyway but here is what mine looked like. My seats were done in what appeared to be semi gloss.
