Not the first time Ive seen this theory and it sure seems like its what is happening, but is the hole Democratic party in lock step with this? So far yes, but why?
Makes sense and then you get to the last two paragraphs and the partisan (in this case Libertarian) agenda comes out...there is always something just under the surface...

Remember that the best way for the Dems to keep control is for them to push the Tea party...
They were sure glad to see Rand Paul come out of the primary here in KY. Trey Grayson was going to crush them in the fall. Now they have a chance with the extremist making statements that only appeal to the far right.
