Hey gang -
Lots of progress on getting the 383 bird on the road. Car is now running, though not running great. The Holley was rebuilt, engine full tune, including timing. Takes at least 5 minutes to get it to hold idle, and kinda hesitates when you give it gas, then picks up and runs forward pretty strong. Anyway, it ain't right yet. Got a new guy who is highly recommended that will get working on fixing whatever is wrong, next Friday. Hope it's minor something or other.
Other things, front bearings replaced, radiator ordered waiting for it to arrive. Got lots of interior bits ready to get sorted. Seats are gonna be reupholstered in a couple weeks. We're rolling, I'll post pics soon!!!

Did you put a new power valve in the carb. Might need to adjust the float's. Could be timing is off a little. Rebuilt my 650 Holley and was surprised how well it work's. Electric choke still work's fine. Holley's are a tough carb and last many year's. But they do need a deep cleaning from time to time. Hope your new guy get's it figured out for ya.
