Hey guys. Just off the phone with the engine builder. He got everything back together after the square decking and milling work. Here's what was done:

Angle milled .048 from the Eddy heads, leaving 76 cc in each chamber.

Square decked the block taking off .015, slugs between .004 and .008 in the hole.

Milled the Eddy intake .020.

Needed different pushrods, which have been installed.

Anyway, he said he needs to use a .060 intake gasket, rather than the .030 that normally gets used to get everything to fit together right. He said it's normal when you change all those surfaces and I have nothing to worry about. Wanted to run it by you guys. Here are a couple pictures.

He said he needs to shave a bit off the corners of the block, if I understood him correctly.

Correction: He needs to shave off corners of the intake, not the block.

Uh-oh. Those corners should mate up perfectly. The corners of the intake should NOT be shaved. When he angle mills the head it should roll the head outward on the block with that corner being the reference. That should not change from the stock position. The angle between the intake face and the intake side of the head face should change but not the relation of the head on the block.
