Re: registry part 2

I have a copy of the original registry from 69roadrunner.org (Marqus's site). It was e-mailed to me because I don't have a spread sheet on my computer. I can send it to you mac, if you want it.

Just out of curiosity, are you numbering the cars like they do on the A12 Registry?

as of now iam dividing the cars into the 3 body styles and then by the last 6 numbers in the vin in each group. i have not assigned a number to each car. including myself there has only been 5 members that have provided info and the rest of the entries i got from ebay listings just to have a bigger group to play with.

Just curious, What's the idea of applying numbers to a listing?

Its a way to reference a car. Say Ray wants to know if anyone has ever seen a green runner with a pink top, Gary could say, look at #122 in the registery!

Exactly!

Steve, if you go on the A12 Registry my car is #216 for instance.

Careful with those green color combos Bob, you'll get Basketcase all wound up... :D

well we are in the early stages of gathering info. currently i have 12 members of the forum registered and the balance are Ebay listings that provided the info. i will send updated versions to John on a regular basis to post in the new registry section, and so far i am happy to see the amout of post cars and cars with the color code starting with a "T" listed :jester:
