retractable electric antenna

Does anyone know what needs to come off in order to replace the ANTENNA with an electric retractable antenna??

Does the fender need to be removed??

You definitely keep picking the fun ones don't you? Regular antenna can be replaced without removing fender. Electric antenna won't fit through gap at edge of fender. Getting the brace attached to the bottom of also is a pain. Best time to do it is if the fender is off the car.

I guess I will save that project for a 'rainy day'.

Should get my 'jewel' back Monday with a new automatic 'street fighter' tranny and 2.76 gears for HIGHWAY cruising..............Can't wait to drive it again.
