Nice. Hope my vert ends up that nice.
Hope to start my assembly by September.
One body panel left then paint.
But may end up getting a new repro hood. Found that having parts stored on it for 25 years in the AZ sun oil canned the metal n middle of hood, sheetmetal separated from structure in places. Body guy thinks he can make it work but...

Well, the car is pretty far from perfect. Alot of the trim dosen't exactly line up. Most is pitted. The bumpers aren't perfect and the paint was supposed to be B7 but it came out way to dark. None of it bothers me, when I hear negative comments about the paint I smile and tell them if that ain't B7 it oughta be. I actually really like it. Put most of the money into the 383. It was really a mess when I got it. From what I can tell this is at least the 3rd car it's been in. It had the wrong cam, wrong carb & intake and half the push rods were all bent up. The boys on this site steered me in the right direction with my fuel.problems and now the car couldn't run better. It just wants to go. I love driving it, it's such a hoot.

It is ceramic coated, so just a wash and blow dry with the leaf blower. The a micro fiber cloth with the magic juice from the ceramic guy.

Where did you get ceramic coated. A leaf blower oh no. What ever work's no streaks. I don't see any pitting. It all look's good. Have you entered it in any car show. My dash pad under the radio looks off. But cant do any thing with it either. We do our best but something's just wont work like we want them too.

A local guy did the ceramic thing. I got the leaf blower idea from watching Chasing Classic Cars. Carini was pedaling some small tool that blows air and gets water out of small cracks. I thought I had some big revelation, but told some car guys at a cars & coffee event and they stared at me then at.each other and said, OK I do that all the time. Good way to dry the car and not put any swirls in the paint.

I've been to some shows. I won the dealers choice award once at a Mopar only show that a Dodge dealer puts on. I've been to Carisle 3 times, that being a participant vote show. It's like the mafia there, clubs and.goups vote foe their own instead.of best car. I've seen some spectacular cars there go without any award and some.that win are crappy. My car should not win anything especially at.Carisle. There are some super nice stuff when you have over 2,000 to choose from. As far as 69 roadrunners go I'm probably low mid.pack.

Didn't build it to be a trailer queen. I drive it whenever I can. It's just to fun.not too.

I am with you on that. We have a hang out for older car's at the mall. Then they meet at a ice cream place where their is also a sport's bar and big parking lot. Their is a mopar club in Brandon Fla. and might meet up with them if I ever get this car on the road. Still you do have a grate looking car and would vote for you to get a Trophy if I where a judge. Yes if your not in their group can see why they are like that. But that is really not fair to every one else.

Looking good!

I’ve been using my leaf blower for years, it works great to get the majority of the water off and them go back with your towels to get the rest.

Won an award for furthest travelled once, was a 1000 mile round trip. I also enjoy driving my car as often as possible.
