I have an input shaft that fits the wide bushing stator with the NARROW sleeve. I was told by a transmission guru that the NARROW sleeve input shaft does NOT take the lower seal ring on the shaft. To run it without it.
Can anyone confirm this??
Getting to the bottom of my transmission issues. I have a "TCI" built transmission that has a 1977 CASE. I now find out that the stator is an EARLY one and it is matched up to a later pump body. Not only is the stator an early one but the one with the wide bushing.
