Sorry for the seperate post.

When we pulled the main bearings we found out the oil supply hole for the bearing was on the bottom and on the top where the port is for the oil supply had no oil supply hole so the bearings weren't getting any oil.

Does this make sense concerning the problems and noise I was having from the oil pan area?

Thanks,
Barry

They did that to all of them ?

Not to mention out of round journals and main bearing tunnel. This is a major problem and a major red flag. You should take it out and correct all the mistakes the guy made before you make hamburger out of that motor.

X2

And take it somewhere else. Anyone that can make this kind of rudimentary mistake has NO BUSINESS building engines.

Great advice,I wonder how many other motors this guy has screwed up by this sort of mistake.

I bet you had very high oil pressure. I would take a lot of pictures and talk to an attorney. :cents:

Oil pressure stayed at 75, didn't lower even at idle. Now the oil pressure follows the rpms.

Thank for the help,
Barry
