It's easy Chris, Don't forget now, it's DRY heat! Unlike the other kind like we get in the north east! :jester:

Dry heat my A#$. I live in NY but had military exercises out there
in the 90's. It was awful, dry heat or not.

I'm headed there later, I was on the roof of my garage extention nailing shingles until the shingles started sticking to my hands and the tools were to hot to pickup :loco:

I've been in Palm Springs, and Phoenix, dry or not, that's too frigg'n hot!

I spent a month out in Colorado back in 92'

It felt like it was 110 in the SHADE

You western guys can have that sh*t

Back in June 1990 we set a record high. I was still working for the phone co. and the corp. bigwigs from Denver came down for a ride along exercise with us cable repair guys. Well after almost dropping dead and begging to go to an air conditioned buildings they decided that maybe these guys outside do need A/C in the trucks. So for the first time we got A/C, but memories being short they sent us shirts in a nice dark color to absorb heat

Two years ago I spent July 4th in Montana. I saw something on the Weather Channel that really made me laugh.

They listed: The Current Temperature as 103 degrees. The Wind Chill as 102 degrees and the Wind out of the West at 2 mph.
