How much can you adjust the torsion bars up or down with out affecting the front end alinement ??

Tom C.

when ever these cars need a front alignment, the first thing that needs to be adjusted is ride height. then after that the caster, camber, toe. so a small adjustment should be ok, but within reason because the other dimensions could change a little.

I am at 25.5 center of finder to floor and would like to be at 26 even so that's 1/2 inch on each side

I don't think it will affect the alignment at 1/2". The service manual has specs on ride height but it doesn't look like you are exceeding them

Pretty much any ride height adjustment will change your alignment. The good news is that the change will be same side to side. Also the 1/2 inch will be a pretty minor adjustment but it will change the alignment.

Its possible it settled about that much since the last alignment. The glass is half full with me
