Tired of restoring Mustangs I had an opportunity to buy a 74 bird and thought it couldn't be any harder but I'm beginning to wonder. There doesn't seem to be the same technical data or parts availability as the Mustangs have and I've already ran into a few dead ends so I'm at the mercy of your information if you want to share

Right now I'm just beginning to discover what I need to do to the car although it's in pretty good shape for its age. The former owner apparently tried to bring the car into the 21st century but didn't complete the job and I'm thinking I would like to change it back into it's original condition. Thanks for all the help you can offer since it's a little different than Fords.

Welcome! `73-74s are nice cars as I`ve owned a few of them, as for parts there are not as many reproduction available in regards to sheet metal - no quarter panels, fenders, etc. but many other parts are not too hard to find. If you are on Facebook there are a few groups for them and also FBBO is good for parts and info as well as here.

And there are often exceptions with Mopars. I bought a complete dash with Rallye gages that had a '73 Satellite vin tag but had the extra indicator lights so maybe it was a late '73 change? The factory would also use up any inventory so an early '74 model could have got a '73 style bezel.
