Look its probably been written before...but anyway...i want run 8 in x 15 in rims using 275/70 tyres i question is what backspacing should i have I currently have 7 in rims which would have to be widened

i currently run 275/60-15 on the back and have no problem with that fitting. if you are going to alter the wheels you have now bolt them up and measure to the springs and frame to make sure you have the room.

4.5" backspacing will put those 8" rims right where you want them.
