under dash reverse light

since I converted to 4spd I have to add the reverse light can anyone so the location for the hole?

it actually goes on the face not under is it tight to the pad or a gap?and about 2 inches to the left of the ash tray. man your a life saver was about to drill under it.

MAC just wondering if that 2 3/4 measurement is right, that puts me in the lower dash pad.
if I go 3 3/4 it puts it right under like the first pic.

my car is in storage, so i can not confirm measurement. pic was found on moparts and was described as a B/E body location.
