Posted a few weeks back about a buddy looking at a 72 Challenger
360 auto and asked about some tranny issues.

The car has an electrical issue as well that is being ignored. No dash operation
and no lights whatsoever. The car starts and runs, but zero gauges and lights.

The owner said possibly the voltage regulator. Really?! I don't want to say
much cause as with a lot of things I just don't know.

Any thoughts on this kind of mess (guages/lights)?

Thanks. I think the guy is gonna buy it but I figured I'd throw it
out to you guys anyway.

*Fran and Mac the car is out on Shawnee rd. heading into Niagara County,
just in case you may have passed it in your travels. Just saying.

Well if your buddy buys the car my first thought to tell him would be to check the entire electrical system all the way to the fuses. Being such an old car I would replace the harnesses any way from the engine compartment and under the dash.

Could be a bunch of things, but I'm thinking it may be a bad or unhooked wire harness connection.

Not the regulator though....

He may be referring to the voltage limiter instead of the regulator. This cuts the voltage to the gauges.
