Windshield wiper removal

Hello everyone I did find the classic style steel wiper blade with rubber insert for my 68 RR. How do you take these off the wiper arm? I see their is a small metal tab underneath. Do you lift up on the tab and pull or push down and pull? Remember this is not just the rubber refill, its the entire blade assy. My 68 service manual shows nothing of the sort. Thanks

There is actually a nice tool for that but yes the tab is to be pulled back and the wipers get pried up and the have spring tension on them also.

Open the tab slightly, it won't move very far and then work the blade assembly off the little raised dot on top of the arm and it slides off
