I called up M&H and they said I should have ordered the conventional ignition harness but that is water under the bridge. I have the 440-6 wiring harness with electronic ignition and upgraded alternator( I know that is subject to opinion). Anyway I bought this from Don http://4secondsflat.com/Ignition.html
and it eliminates the ballast resistor. if I would have bought the points version of the harness I would have to splice two wires together, now I have five to figure out (pic).http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/s410/freecon3434/IMG_0473_zps2a62e3c4.jpg
Do I just splice them all together? Leave out the green and red wire? Any help would be appreciated as always. Almost there! Would be able to start it tomorrow if I didn't have to wait for a mancini header dipstick.
