Just to add to Bobs post the 215 fan is used on Hemis and 18" the 216 fan is 18 1/2" is more common and repopped if you want a new one. -

Can't cut the carburetor it would be best if you got a plastic or Fiber style base would be easier to deal with and to cut and a rework... -
