Hmmmm... I don't think it's a great way to carry.
It is supposed to look like it's for a cell phone, but I don't think I've seen anyone carry that type of thing in a long time. A savvy cop or bad guy would know that's a gun in there too.
Like you, I carry my .380 in my pocket. I use an Uncle Mike's #5 padded holster (makes a good cell phone holster too!). When I carry my 9mm, I have a nice "IWB" holster that clips on my belt. The grip is the only thing that sticks out and I can cover that with an untucked shirt. I really like Hawaiian shirts, so that works well.

Too cumbersome, if you are carrying you want to be able to pull quickly. Those things look like you would have trouble getting to you weapon.

I have the DeSantis Nemesis Pocket Holster for my S&W Bodyguard .380, but I'm not really happy with it. It always comes out of my pocket with the gun even though it is not supposed to... It does however break up the outline of the gun and allows me to carry within the confines of the law.

I think it would be OK under a suit jacket for dress up but I don't wear either. Like John the 380 is in a #5 Uncle Mikes. This is how I pocket my 9mm for the time being I'm prepared for anything :rimshot::lmao:

Barsony makes a nice pocket holster. I use it for my S&W Airweight 442, which honestly doesn't really need a holster at all, depending on how deep your pockets are.
