I am curious if anyone has a guess on how many 69 drop top 4 speeds made it. I know they are rare but dont know how rare. I know when i went to a few mopar shows last year everyone got pretty excited seeing my car and I had a couple pretty good offers for it at both shows.
My guess would be less then 150 but I have heard people say less then 50.
Let's hear what you have to say!

I went on line. Typed in: 1969 roadrunner convertible production
Here is what that site said.
383 total 1880, 769 4spd, 1111 auto

426 total 10, 4 4spd, 6 auto

You didn't say what motor you have. I hope it's a 426.
Good luck with your search.

I know how many were made at least guess as I've seen literature say any where from 680 to 780 depending on website. I am just curious how many are left. Anyone have one or know of one please let me know I am going to start a list. Thanks

I think about 40-50% of the 69 RR verts remaining in the US are 4-speeds. Although more automatics were made, the 4-speed is much more desirable, therefor more likely to be restored and/or maintained.
Mine is an automatic. My buddy Mike buys and sells 69 RR verts often. He and his father have had a lot of verts over the years, and most of them seem to be 4-speeds.
I've personally only seen five 69 RR verts in person. Two are automatics (including mine), and three are 4-speeds.

Chapdog,
That surprises me because I know of about 15 convertibles and all are automatics. I hardly ever see 4-speeds for sale. I finally got it running good and painted, made it to the last show of the year. Everyone that saw the car at the show really get excited when they saw the 4 speed. I have been offered a lot of money a few times for mine unfinished sight unseen at other Mopar shows when I didn't bring the car and show people pictures. A automatic drop top owner called his son and he drove 40 miles just to look at my pics on my phone, made me an offer lol.
But pretty much over the years I was told that the 4 speeds were mostly bought by younger people that drove the hell out of them into the ground that is why there werent that many left. Back in the late 60s and early 70 everyone was going to automatics because it was a luxury and the normal buyer wanted auto.

Well, there you have it. It's 5. :D

15 RR verts! That's pretty cool! I often wonder how many are left in the US. Where are you located?
I would be surprised if there are more than 300 that are currently road worthy, and that may be a high estimate.
We have about 5-6 around here in SE Michigan that I know of. My buddy Mike (DrMopar on here, Moparts, etc.) has "imported" a lot of RR convertibles to the Detroit area. He buys and sells them often. I'm not sure how far they go when he sells them. He has sold a few to Southern Motors that you can find on youtube. I know he sold a blue 69 RR vert 4 speed a few years ago that stayed in the local area. Mike's dad sold a very nice, blue 4-speed 69 RR vert last year that won 3rd place at Detroit Autorama in it's class (behind the Inline Tube guys and their 442's). He picked up a green one soon after that he still has today.

It seems like there's usually one or two on Ebay most of the time, but often it's the same ones being sold over and over again.

I can't wait until spring so I can drive mine!
