69 Rear Window

I am replacing my rear window in my 69 RR with and after market replacement and my body guys thinks that the glass may not be as thick as the original, does any one know if this is the case and what thickness of BUTAL should he use ?

I have heard that the repop rear window glass for 68-70 b bodies is slightly thinner than original. This does help when installing the trim. I have no personal experience with it though.
 
I just measured both the old and the new ,both 3/16
 
5/16 is the correct size for your 69. Anything thicker makes it difficult to snap the trip on. Good Luck
