Right Stuff Detailing not the Right Stuff

Hey guys,

Despite the fact that I only have 1,000 miles on the brand new conversion kit from Right Stuff, the front calipers are sticking. Looking for recommendation to replace all 4 calipers to work with my existing rotors. I'm fine buying calipers and rotors as well, but would prefer being able to keep the ones I have.

Any suggestions for this type of replacement? I know Wildwood is good stuff, but seems pricey.

I would try to put a kit in the caliper first. Hone the cylinders good to make sure there are no burrs.:cents:

I made the mistake of buying their kit too instead of PST's kit what a cluster, must rotors and pistons are ok they seem to be one version of the OE large single piston type can't remember which vehicles those were tied to by Chrysler but they work ok.

First issue was the power booster and master cylinder what junk! they sold me a GM booster with the Hemi brackets what shit this booster and brackets didn't line up and looked like shit my installer had to tack weld some washer on the bolts because he was afraid the whole unit would wobble off the fire wall! looked like shit on a shingle, got pissesed and after calling James at PST and talking with the guys at pirate Jack I got the right Bendix booster.

Then the master cylinder lid would not seal for shit! no matter what I did the lid would leak under pressure, and of course you can't just buy a lid! had to get a whole other unit, pissed me off, then the brake lines themselves looked OE but leaked as well why? because they were too short for the application!! fuck me! had to go get a set of stainless steel ones from summit to fix that issue.

I called RSD and explained it they were like oh sorry but not giving your money back, so I told them fuck you not ever getting another dime from me. fucking bitches. they are super nice on the phone though lol Soon after I got my kit they send out recall on the spindles! WTF god dam it mother humpers. I don't have any issues now but dam If I do I going to bite the bullet and get all wildwood stuff from PST. want pics? I got pics.

Sorry to hear about your problems. We put a set of their front discs on a friend of mines 66 satellite and haven't had any problems with it.

Thank you! I had the exact same problem, couldn’t figure it out, saw your post, ordered the new hoses and no more leaks!

Funny, I think Summit sells Right stuff brake lines.

I’d be fired up too, mine has been on for over 5 years with no issues. Mine is manual not power mayhaps that’s the difference.

I’ve used some Wilwood items on two different vehicles, you should be a happy camper. Good luck!
