Are a 1970 door ( like picture ) and 1969 door the same?

As far as it goes I would say yes. If it look's like the one in pic. It looks like my 69 I have. Russ.

There is a slight difference in the location of the inside door lock on the 68. Other than that 68-70 are the same.

This is correct. The door lock hole, I think, is further forward on the 68.

Actually it is further back on the 68 model. It was moved forward in 69 because just one of the many magazine editors that got to drive the all new Road Runner wrote about how hard it was to reach the interior door lock. All I can say about that is he must have been a little bitty feller.

It was done to make the car harder to break into. It may have been a safety standard thing, like the head rests, but what do I know...
