I'm happy my date codes came out well even though they are not exactly the right ones for my car. Nonetheless, I will hopefully get them in primer tonight. Fingers crossed.

The Cragars pictured are my Father's. They are currently on his 62 Dart and look great. I like Cragars too and used to have a set on my 68 Charger. However, site member, pinkpanthr, literally gave me a set of the pictured factory correct Motor City 14x5.5 Steelies for nothing more than shipping cost. Great guy. So I will run the steelies and dog dish caps until such a date I can afford an upgrade... Or who know's? Maybe I'll love and cherish them on the car forever!?!?

Oh! And the other observation I made when I had my 68 Charger, I ran the tried and true 275/60R15 meats on it with 3.23 Sure Grip. Well, when I went to get the body work done I put the 14x6 70s Rally Wheels back on that cam on the car when I bought it. I was amazed at how ditching the big rubber woke the car right up, as though I had installed 4.10s or something. Anyway, I'll once again be running 3.23 gears in the Road Runner because they are original to the car and won't cost me anything extra. And I reason, running factory steelies will give the baby big-block a little added punch it could use. And who know's? Maybe down the road I'll think about a gear and or wheel/tire change, but for now, I'm thinking factory-fresh-stock is a good starting point.

I like my 3.23s, and my 383 has plenty of pep with the 275s.
