Hello All,
I am in the process of swapping transmissions and associated parts with a friend. From his 69 GTX to my 70 RR. I am getting the A833 and he is getting my 727. He has some health issues and wants his car to be more drivable. Question: Do we need to pull the entire pedal assemblies from the firewall. Or can we pull some of the parts, without removing all the braketry for the swap?
Thanks

So your giving him your brake pedal rite. Would think that the bracket is different for auto. To answer you I would look at yours then his. If things are different will have to swap them. Russ. Oh might ask Big John. Or look in the parts book on the site. Find a lot of stuff their. :beep:

It might actually be easier to swap bracket rather than remove and swap clutch pedal and firewall bracing

The pedal assemblies will swap no problem. You'll need the firewall reinforcement bracket as well.

I am new to this site I just bought a 1970 roadrunner 40 automatic. I saw that they make a 4 speed conversion kit with everything you need to convert. Has anybody here used one and what kind of money are we talking? Thanks for accepting me to the site looking forward to being a member here

Thank you it's been a while . I had a 68 roadrunner 383 automatic way back in high school. It's been along time coming . I looked out the window this morning when I woke up and almost couldn't believe it was in my driveway
