I bought a Fiberglass hood many years ago and needed a lot of work to make it fit right . Not exact match to the 6BBL Hood but at the time worked for me It's a bolt, hinge type. AAR. sells them with the correct look. they say No other body work except sand and paint is needed.
Any one have any input on they Quality ? Picture 001.jpg

Nice looking car. Tom. Like the color. Sorry can't help on the hood. I still have a steel hood. No air grabber. Just a 383 motor.

To relate to the hood my friend Pete. On the web. out of Texas said they all fit badly fiber glass. He put one on a runner and said it was a piece of junk. Better off to stick with the metal. He restored a 68 runner and cloned a Satellite into a roadrunner. By watching his video on the web helped me in restoring the car I am working on. Some things not covered but enough info to get by. Sound's like you got a good motor and set up it looked good in the car. Just hope mine turn's out to look that good. For a personal restore job. But it has been a journey from the start. Wish you luck with the hood but do think I would get a metal hood. Just saying. Russ.

The Guy off of WRSC Pete said to find eater a new one or used Metal. You will have nothing but problems with the fiber glass. Also if you ever get an engine fire think about it. It will go up in flames. Metal will not. May burn the paint but that can be fixed.
