I have a 1969 Road Runner and I'm installing a Six Pack fiberglass hood, bolt on style. Not lift off. I have a set of hood pins I bought from YearOne. This car did not originally come with hood pins. Can anyone tell me the correct location on where to install these under the hood? I uploaded 2 pictures of where my hood bump stops are. Can I keep them in the same location and just drill and tap a new hole for the hood pins? Any help is appreciated. 15368562663003338380219995251419.jpg 15368563323776421219006045308981.jpg 15368562663003338380219995251419.jpg 15368563323776421219006045308981.jpg

Basketcase is probably the one you need to ask I see he has hood pin's. Wish I could help but don't have a clue. Good luck. :thumbsup2:

could call year one and talk to a tech guy and ask what the dimensions are they are pretty good about giving information to people who have bought something from them

By the way welcome from the peach state with the wave glad to have you nice looking car

If you have not installed them yet they can go anywhere you want. Just match side to side and then drill the hood and install that part of pin

Mine, I have them plug for now , Have41762040_1829901660408933_91787784737521664_n.jpg steel hood on my 69RR

Way to go Tom. I knew that someone would have the answer. I thought we use to replace the hood bumper with the pin to keep from drilling additional holes. But did not want to steer the man wrong. Good job.

Oh boy another senior moment Mac. Measure twice and cut once. But need all the measurement's. :kartman: Told you he had old timer's.
