Fired up the 71 for the first time after putting everything back to stock. I can’t believe how much better it runs now. And I actually have power brakes now due to the engine now making vacuum. Sorry for putting the thread back on to the title subject. Couldn’t risk Dave posting any more pictures of his friends.

I believe they are jet hot coated. That is what the guy told me anyway. I bought them at a swap meet in St. Louis last fall for a hundred bucks. They didn’t burn off on initial start up. Will see how long it lasts.

Thanks for the kind words. Some times I consider selling all but one and makeing it a super nice car. It is costly and time consuming to keep the fleet going and working towards continuous improvements. But don’t think I would be happy with just one.
