I assume it is a clone because the ad would reflect the REAL A12 to draw attention and run up the bidding. That said it needs some refinements, shinny hood, blackout on radiator support and it looks like they managed to put the seat tracks on backward or something. Looks solid!

22” radiator. Power brakes. 68 lower dash pad. And with black interior with blue inner door just looks soooooo wrong. Clone all the way. No vin, no data plate.

Agreed on the doors. Awful. Just awful... You could get power brakes on an A12, just not discs.

$35k If its a Roadrunner
That's what I was thinking. I do like the car though, clone or not. I might swap the rad, do something with the interior, but I'd live with the Power Brakes.

Had a second look at the door thing, yah the black and blue thing is odd at best. I guess the only thing you could do to improve it would be to paint the inside black to match the seats and dash.

This is one for the book's on price. The 440 may command more money. Knowing that it did not come with the 440 original. Yes something is wrong with the seat slider's. Should not see that spring for sure. The car look's odd with out the console or something between the bucket seat's. It is not a CA. car. But it depends on how bad someone want's to say they own a runner. This is a bad guess but think it will not go over 50 thou. I am in line with 69hemi on the 35 thou. but thinking it might hit more in the 42 range. Let's see where it goes. A die hard Runner fan will know what is wrong and why not to pay a high price for the car. But you never know. :popcorn2:

Does say "Original road runner". No mention in the spec list of it being an A12.
After watching and studying the mecum Auctions for over 5 years, I think a non-matching numbers car is at about $35-40k, with a fresh resto. But at Kissimmee, their largest auction of the year, all the wing cars and hemi cars get all the attention. Sometimes the "lesser" cars dont get too much attention and can be had for a steal. Even original 383 cars will usually sell for more than any nice fresh resto touting a 440 replacement motor.

Tony from Tony's Mopar parts is selling off some of his collection at this auction, two winged cars, a Daytona and a Survivor Superbird.

So we think it was a clone rite. Man that is a real Kick in the nut's. After all the money we put into restoring one of these runner's. That price dose not even cover the restore cost. And 69hemi you get a Kewipe doll.
