Strapped the hose from the radiator to the side and down through the hole in the radiator support. That is why that is their. They did not have over flow tank's on these car's. Just let it poor on the ground.

That's what I have now. It's so hot lately that it's always puking when it warms up and when it cools off. I want to put the tank to stop that.

AZ Desert,
If it pukes as it warms it sounds as if you have the proper cap for an overflow bottle. These cars will mark their territory until it reaches a happy level in the radiator (with the right cap).

I was taught to fill the rad. One inch below the neck of the filler cap. Run a good coolant and anti freeze. Maybe the timing is a little off if running hot. While playing with getting mine set up it did that to me so backed up the timing and it quit getting hot. Just my two cent's.

Mine runs about an inch and a half below the filler neck. If I fill it above that it pukes it out back down to that. My radiator is 22” out of a 67 b body. It seems to work well, no overheating anyway.

I just use an old quart of oil bottle for my Charger and on my Road Runner that sits in the battery tray. Easy to remove at shows.
Also have one mounted up on my Challenger that is more permanent.
