Hey guy's must have had at least 10 guy's stop and turn around to look at the runner. I was on the shoulder of the road talking to a friend of mine. We are way out in the country. They had me lift the hood so they could see the motor and asked all kind's of question's. Think having cragar mag's all the way around attracted them. It makes you fell good that other guy's appreciate the work we put into these car's. Heard story's of mopar's they use to own and wish they still had them. Well having fun now that I am able to drive the car instead of working on it.

That's great Russ. I'm my little town I get alot of attention too. Older guys reflecting back to those days, younger kids, and those that had a Roadrunner. Good times!

Took about a 3 hour drive today in Red Skelton. Always get people that want to talk about the cars whenever we stop. I think that is just as enjoyable as driving and working on them. Never miss an opportunity to burn up a tank of gas.

I agree guy's. So here is the icing on the cake. Think it is done. These rim's is what it needed to take it back to 69. Now maybe I can enjoy driving it after working out the last few bug's. Just to add tried to crank it today and it would not start. So checked the start run relay and yep it had gone bad. It was the one that came with the car. The last old part of the wiring. Got the new one put it on and tapped the dash and said come on baby lets take a drive. Fired right up. Now want to see all the new guys show their stuff also as well as the rest of you. I get a lot of waves and thumbs up from bikers too for some reason. Hot rods and bikes just seem to go together. Even a guy in one of those high powered Mustangs pulled over in town and let me go by just to give me a thumbs up. People always gather round the car at cruise ins, I guess because it’s a little rough around the edges, they like to see em in the wild! I always oblige when they want to talk about cars, theirs, mine or others. I like cars of all kinds, and love to see what people have done to their cars. Lots of innovation and vision out there for sure.
This was one cool ass car at the cruise last month.

I love to drive mine on weekends, put as much as 150 miles on her. I live in a small town and it is Ford and Chevy country around here. So I feel like I am special when someone comes up to me and remarks about my RR

O Yea the Motel is where I spent my wedding night 53 years ago, The only difference is we had a 1964
Plymouth Sport Fury 383 with a four speed. Wish I still had that car !!!

Just about every time I go for a cruise I get someone commenting on the car. We are truly blessed to be able to enjoy these cars. BE4D1DFF-BCE6-4B19-B2B1-073A4E7D8A76.jpeg

It's the color for me. What do you call this? What Orange?
It’s supposed to be Hemi Orange, I really like it. When I take it to car shows it gets a lot of comments. It’s a 383 automatic with power steering, fun car to drive.

Cruisin Hines is coming up in my area, 27 miles of cruising and cars, should be a fun time. I’m sure I’ll be beep beeping a lot of people there, and I hope to pick up the original owner of my car and have him enjoy it with me. That should be a fun day!

My tires are 245/60/15, on 15x7” rims. They’re the widest “recommended” size that my buddy was allowed to put on, and I got the rims from the pick and pull for $17 a piece, from a late 70’s 5th Ave. I like thrifty, and the car originally came with steel wheels, as a matter of fact, those are the original hubcaps.
