CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT CARB WAS USED ON A 1968 MANUAL SHIFT ROADRUNNER, AND WHAT CFM IT WAS RATED FOR?
THANKS IN ADVANCE

4426 CarterC-4-AVS383 M/T
1968 ....... 383/335 HP .. AVS ............ 625 Advertised CFM Rating ........................ 630 Corrected CFM Flow Rating

Disclaimer: Not my data, I found this on various Mopar pages doing in internet search for your question.

Using a Holley 650 four-barrel carb on my 383. 75 jets on primary and 80 metering plate on secondary. Tried to square mine to 80 80. But motor did not like it. So had to go back to 76 jets on primary. I have thought of going up to a 750 carburetor but want some gas millage. LOL.

Yah, I had a bigger Edelbrock on mine and replaced it with the old stock Carter that I found and rebuilt. I'm not interested in how fast it can go as shit breaks when you drive fast. It goes fast enough for me.

What RonLiv said.
If you are looking for a correct carb (seems like you may be) try to find a date correct one as a bonus.
In case you were unaware they were date coded.
I run Q jets but have a correct stashed for someday maybe.
Just my thing.
An Edelbrock would be good too.

you have a Chevy carb on your mopar ?

Probably yes.
Junk yard pulls.
25 years ago you had to get up early in the morning to beat Sanford and Son to fresh meat at the local Pull A Part.
Q jets got gone as soon as the GM cars hit the lot.
FYI Chrysler used Q Jets in the 80s.
So I'm kosher.
Spred bores rock for the street.
No leaking side bowls too boot.
