A12, I have contacted them. Because the logo is physically stamped into the plastic, it cannot be changed. They do strip everything else off when the restore these, but the core has to have the correct logo to start with.
My original was destroyed when the car caught fire and is not repairable. I have the other 2 pieces from a parts car, but it was missing the glove box piece when I bought the car. As far as converting a Sport Satellite or Coronet, it is not possible. These were made from the back side and the...
I am looking for the wood grain dash panel that goes above the glove box for a 69 GTX. Shoot me a PM if you have one or know where to find one. Thanks!
Thanks for the comments guys. Except for the Challenger which was Y2 yellow, it seems that just about every Mopar that I have ever owned was originally green. I guess that's not really true, maybe just the ones that I tend to keep long term are almost always green!
I might note that Dad likes darker green better and had the GTX repainted F8 20+ years ago. He wants me to leave it F8 so I probably will leave it, even thought I would prefer the original F3
Sorry for the slow response, have been out of the country on business. If I did this correct, there should a few pics attached, my 68 Bee, the Challenger (At Goodguys show at Texas Speedway) and my 69 RT/SE Charger that I am slowly piecing together. The pic of the GTX is from several years ago...
I called AMD. They confirmed that the "Early 68" style hood has the late 68/ 69 style under hood framing. The only difference is the safety latch location. I was also told that these 2 separate hoods are being replaced with one hood that is configured for both safety catch locations so it fits...
I am getting ready to buy a new AMD hood for my 69 GTX. The hood that was on it was an early 68 (modified for the 69 inserts) that was installed after a wreck years ago. I assume the hood latch panel is from a 68 as well since the safety catch is in a different position. Not sure if I should...
I live In Missouri and I am currently restoring my fathers 69 GTX. He bought the car in the early 70's and it has been in the family since then. It is F3 Green with green/white interior and several options such as power windows. I also have a 68 Super Bee and a 70 Challenger.
