Just dropped bumper brackets off at American Metal Cleaning in Toledo and they had a 69 GTX from the Columbus area ready to go into the tank. http://www.americanmetalcleaninginc.com/
I would like front disc brakes and keep the 14" magnum wheels on my 69. I believe I need 70's A or E body parts, any one have some part #'s or any info?
I understand completely, they were fast, got loose easy if you had a both "Big Boss 60's" spinning and not the best brakes so a lot of the Road Runners we had as kids got beat up. We don't have to talk about rust. Loved the 67 440 I had in a 68 RR 4spd
I have a friend that worked in Chry. engineering in the 60's and he just laughed when I talked about the gaps and fitting the panels. They were not making watches
Yea I had to replace the lip around the cap and that took a couple tries with all of the curves. I also had to spit the inner and install it in halves. I was more comfortable lining up the Qt's, trunk and outer housings first so it was tough to get them in one pc.
