Just had to replace the fuel pump on my 69 383-4 Road Runner. In a storage building. Forgot about the fuel pump rod but finally remembered. I got my replacement from Rock Auto. I was surprised that they had the same pump as referenced by my 69 Chrysler parts manuals right down to the same part...

I'd go with the Vitamin C for two reasons: I'm an all original kinda sorta guy and, while black is just about the best (my opinion) color for a car, it is miserable to keep clean and it gets dirty with the car just sitting still. I had an all black 87 Suburban; acres of black sheet metal...

I took my 383 Road Runner into a restoration shop and the head mechanic is a MoPar guy. He went over the car front to back and, what I thought might be a rear main seal leak was the reverse light sending unit on the top of the 4-speed transmission. A lot cheaper to fix.

I've got a 69 383-4 with a 4-speed and have an oil leak in the same place. I'm thinking that it's an engine oil leak and not the trans. I am not looking forward to a rear main seal replacement.
