Good call! I was up in the air about what I wanted to do with the brakes as I've read a number of threads here and at FBBO regarding the brakes. I like upgrades and I also like stopping as quickly as I can when needed.

Thanks for the reply. Really what I'm looking for is a good comfortable ride that will accommodate the bad roads and not have me fixing parts every few months. I don't really need it for more than that. I know a local guy that has two RR's and he let me know the roads around here are so bad...

It really was just a way for my family to pitch in as it was a car we all remembered growing up as kids. I have self-reliance, trust me.

I've been able to complete this now. I am having some trouble with removing the steering column. I know there's a pin that can be removed to get the column out. But, I'm having a hell of a time getting that pin out. Suggestions? Is the pin I'm thinking of below?

Any suggestions on what to tackle next? I know there's no real order to take it apart in. But, I want to set myself up for a best case scenario.

Thanks! The kids do love it. My son loves to come out to the garage and ask a lot of questions. Challenges my knowledge and helps remember what I'm doing. I don't know if I'm helping him or if he's helping me. haha
