update: realized the correct order of re-install.... open glovebox door, take door itself off hinge(s), LEAVE HINGE ATTACHED, remove door lock latch on bottom, remove old glovebox liner, squeeze in new liner, attach door and bottom latch. (the key here is NOT to take the door AND hinge off at...
