Yes, I think I got a hell of a good deal. The car was easily worth 10 grand. It was a very solid car too.

Pretty much but, it had the deluxe (Burnt Orange) interior. The seats were upholstered wrong when I bought it but whoever did it, did a pretty nice job & held up well over all these years.

I bought this from the son of the original owner, who drove this car everywhere. He gave it to his son who hopped-up the engine & trans. (383-4 speed car) & did a damn good job. I was a mechanic for a long time so I can spot nice work right away. I bought the car from him in 2011 for 8 grand...

I have this piece from a 70 440-4 GTX & no longer want to keep it. It's an original base in near perfect shape (has 1 small ding in lip, can be seen in 3rd pic, easily fixed) just needs to be glass beaded & painted to be a very nice piece. I figure someone might be needing it more than me...
