I need to remove the plastic trim on the glove box door of a 1970 Road Runner w/ Rallye Dash. I'm not sure how to remove the latch/lock assembly to get the trim piece off. HELP! TIA

I have a 69 so no help sorry. Some things I had to crawl up under there and found studs with cap nuts for some trim. Good luck.

Yes, that piece on the upper part of the right side I had to remove the PAL nuts on the back side. Now I have to remove the plastic trim piece that covers the glove box door. It's held on with screws that are easy to get to but first I have to remove the chrome outer glove box lock knob to be able to remove the trim. I need to know how to do that properly. Thanks for the response tough.

Is there a clip or pin on the inside that lets you remove it. May have to go to a lock smith to get his advice. Sorry no help.

I don't see any way the knob is held on. I'm pretty sure there's a procedure to remove the knob with the key & a pin or something that must be depressed while turning the key a certain way. I'll find out eventually.
