    WANTED Pie tin

Thanks. I'll e-mail my info & I'll need to get the OK from the owner of the car first but, he'll probably say get it. If you direct message me here, no one will see it either. Just curious, the friend who bought my Road Runner wants to put an Air Grabber set-up on this car too. I told him with...

    WANTED Pie tin

It looks like it will be plenty good enough. the car it's going on is not a resto. Will you except $225 & a certified check? I can wait to you get the check to make sure it's good, as I don't use Zelle, Venmo or PayPal. Thanks for the time & trouble sending pictures by the way.

    WANTED Pie tin

It looks very much what I'm looking for. I've seen new one's (Re-pop's) on Mancini's web site for $70 +shipping but they're "NOT IN STOCK" & like Roadtrp said, I may be waiting for quite some time for them to be back in stock. Yours looks like it may be an original piece but most everyone want's...

    WANTED Pie tin

I totally understand. I personally am not footing the bill for this, just trying to get a fair price on a nice one for a friend's car. It's no resto, but it is a real nice car.

    WANTED Pie tin

I did find new reproduction ones from Mancini's for under $70 but, they are out of stock right now. I'll wait 'till they're back in stock. The car doesn't need it to run. I guess if you want an original one in VGC, you'll have to pay through the nose for it.

    WANTED Pie tin

Looking for a nice pie tin (383 road runner engine) for the air cleaner of a 70 383 Road Runner. I could buy a new reproduction one but, prices are outrageous! Even used ones. I will not pay $300 bucks for a piece of tin when I bought the complete housing for that! I'm sure someone here has a...

    Glove box trim removal help

I figured it out last month, got it cleaned up & painted & re-installed with all the other lower trim pieces. Not easy to do with the dash still in the car & never doing this before. It looks great! Now I just have to clean & paint the column & re-install the gauge cluster. It's been too cold...

    Glove box trim removal help

I don't see any way the knob is held on. I'm pretty sure there's a procedure to remove the knob with the key & a pin or something that must be depressed while turning the key a certain way. I'll find out eventually.

    Glove box trim removal help

Yes, that piece on the upper part of the right side I had to remove the PAL nuts on the back side. Now I have to remove the plastic trim piece that covers the glove box door. It's held on with screws that are easy to get to but first I have to remove the chrome outer glove box lock knob to be...

    Dash trim paint

New questions. I think I'll have to replace the two pieces of trim on the right side, around the radio & above the glove box. They are very brittle, cracked & even broken. I was very careful removing them too. First question, who, if anyone, makes these pieces? Second question. Do I have to...

    Dash trim paint

That looks excellent. I found out how I remove the right side trim. I plan on Satin black or Semi-gloss spray paint & I do have those same Moltow chrome paint pens to do the borders of the trim & the small letters that are molded into the gauge face for lights, wipers etc. Thanks for the help.

    Dash trim paint

Also, I'm not sure how the trim piece above the glove box is removed. (I know, the bird is not supposed to be there, it will be removed) Is it glued on? (doubtful) Are there fasteners hidden somewhere? Do I need to remove the glove box liner to access the fasteners? The other pieces appear to be...

    Dash trim paint

I am about to paint the black dash trim (A good friend's car) that goes around the gauge bezels & across the dash to the passenger side on a 70 w/ Rallye Dash. What shade of black should I use, flat black, satin black etc. It is not a concourse restoration by any means but, it IS a really nice...

    Speedometer faceplate/trim piece

Can you put up a picture of what you're needing to chrome? If it's a thin area around the gauges & bezel, a chrome pen might do a decent job for you. MOLOTOW makes them in different widths. I use them on some models with very good results. Just my 2 cents.

    I wish I'd kept it!

I have to say, there's something I really like about a car that looks like it had seen better days but embarrasses a lot of folks at stoplight drags! I've seen pictures of your car here before & I like what I see.

    I wish I'd kept it!

Yes, the guy I bought it from knew what he was doing. I was impressed with some of the little, time-consuming things he did that most people didn't spend their time doing. All the right combination of parts, not too radical, but pretty quick & you could drive it all day with no problems. He...
