I like it. It does take a lot of time and money to restore these cars. If you can do most of it your self then it may be cheaper. I had to in vest in plasma cutter and mig. welder.
I am sure you will do a good job also. Just don't give up or get frustrated. It does not happen over night. Mo money is one of the big things. I had to hunt down some stuff due to wanting a four speed car. Trying to find an 833 trans. And making the drive shaft fit. Mismatched universal joints...
Like stated striped and parted out. Or it could have left the country. Crooks are pretty smart and know all the tricks. If parts are replaced the vin is not always stamped on them. I did stamp numbers on most of the sheet metal when replacing it as with frame rails. They say you should not do it...
Bought after market tank and with my car raise with 2 and half recurved six leaf springs for that lift look of the rear of car. Ended up drilling filler neck and installing 1/8 inch nipple and running another vent line up under package tray.
Diana's or from person on b bodies. Been awhile since the purchase. It was in good shape but gave it a paint job. Putting the cables on was a bit of a job. Now find the air grabber is striking the back section of the breather lid. Trying to figure out what to do. Hood closes but can feel it when...
Hello every one. It is sure fun to drive the runner and go to car show's. Have a nice trophy collection going. Just finished the air grabber install. Really like the way it looks. Should add some extra points when at the car show. I hope so. It beats working on it and being able to just enjoy...
The four speed manual floor shift with console should bring more money.mine had a 727 trans. with BMW floor shift. So built it my way with console and four speed manual shifter. Had to hunt the shifter down and shift mec. Was hard to find. Had the shifter chromed. This was all expensive but well...
I put the Hurst badge on left side same distance as the roadrunner script on the right side. It looks good on the trunk. Put the wood shift knob on to day I like it over the queball one I had. Will hang on to the queball one. This should give me a few more points at the car shows. Last thing was...
Has any one installed one of these on there runner. Don't want to in stall power steering pump and all the lines. Plus buying the steering box. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks Russ.
You got me. What is the piping for water or nitrous. I know there where ports for exhaust in my intake. Been a long time since having mine off. I do remember something crossed between the heads. Sorry been awhile of having that apart. Hope someone will chime in. Good luck with the build.
Had to cut the base on my air grabber down due to Edelbrock mid rise in take.Had to due the same with conventual round filter also. Took a good three quarter inch off my new air grabber filter base. Start out with a little at a time. Too much may interfere with throttle linkage. Good luck.Russ.
