My cigar lighter has never worked so I took it apart and cleaned all of the components and put it back together. I have power to the inside element, but I’m guessing it’s not grounding somehow. Does anyone know how they are suppose to ground? Or maybe some other issue?

Just bought my 1969 Road runner a few months ago. It was originally a 383 4-speed, but I bought it without a motor. I built up a 440-6 before I ever bought a car so now its a 440-6, 4 speed, with a dana 60. I've been working hard trying to get it ready for summer. Can't believe I'm just now...
