Could be bad valve seals in 7 & 8.

    Intake manfold gaskets

I'm planning on replacing my old single plane TM6 intake with an Edelbrock performer RPM dual plane on my 383. When replacing the gaskets, do they go between the valley pan end heads, or between the intake and valley pan? OR both? I've replaced a few LONG ago in 340's, but the big blocks are...

    Valve cover problems

I've always used the rubber gaskets with no issues, and never had the need for sealer. They last longer, and to me they are much more durable. Never cared for the cork..

    Steering issue, Help

Mine did the same thing when I first got it. Driving down the road, and hit a little bump and the thing would dart to the left or right and go wherever it wanted to. Needless to say, it wasn't very safe. Turns out it not only did it need an alignment badly, but the steering box was shot. Might...

What things have you found in your cars?

Found this in the trunk. Cleaned it up, and it gets worn proudly during those cooler days.

    Roadrunner stance.

Pretty sure the unilugs will go up to 5" bolt pattern.

    Roadrunner stance.

Based on your rim size and backspace, the 295's should fit with no rubbing, but they'll be a tight squeeze with an 8" rim. Summit carries the LH lugnuts. http://www.summitracing.com/search/part-type/lug-nuts/lug-nut-thread-size/1-2-20-lh-in

    Roadrunner stance.

When I first got my RR, the torsion bars were set ridiculously high. Was running 255/60/15's all around and it looked like it had a reverse rake to it. Looked silly and handled like a dog. As Quikbird said, lowering the bars are very easy. Clockwise raises, counterclockwise lowers. Just go a...

    Cragars

Thank you. Running 275/60/15's out back with 8" rims with 4-1/4 backspace. Fit perfect. Still have about an inch of clearance between the fender lip and the sidewall. Went with direct drill instead of unilug. Was never a fan of the vari-fit. Just needed the conical lugs to replace the shank style.

Sold the drag lites and went old school with the Cragars. Had 'em back in the day... and have 'em again today.

Cant go wrong with the cragers. :)

    Rim size question

Looks good. Those cragers look like they've got a lot of offset. My guess would be 2-1/2" backspace. Mine have 3-1/2", and I know that they arent out that far. I've got about 1-1/2" clearance between the tire and the lip with the 255's on there right now.
