On the bulkhead connector there is a tab on each side that you bend out to release the connector. Is this a 4 speed car? If so you gonna find there's extra wires in the plug.

have you checked to see if the leads that connect to jamb switches are clear and not touching the chassis of the car? the dome lamp switches are what grounds the dome light circuit when the doors are open
I repair the clocks. As mentioned check for 12 volts at the clock wire to do this first check the clock wire to ground which should be the tach housing itself if you have voltage at the clock wire the clock should work. If 12v isn't present at the clock wire next test it to a good chassis ground...
