Just watched the episode. Cool car. Lot of weird on that car. 72 rear bumper on a 71. 72 front emblem on the header panel. Satellite hood on a roadrunner. I know. I sound like that guy. Lol. Cool car thou.
71 has a few things just to it.
The front and rear marker lights are 71 only. 72 went to a solid light with no surround. Prolly cheaper. And the rear bumper is different on a 72 I believe. Other than that I believe they are the same.

Well. I've been a automotive painter for 20 years. I learned to paint from a older fellow using a devibliss JGA. My hats off to you on getting that cup and spray head inside to door. Great job.
I use both the shop-line and the PPG DBC lines of paint pretty much daily. There is a huge difference in them. Even my paint rep says there is not. But that isn't true. I spray shop-line base on insurance jobs(when the formula is available) because it's cheaper and that's what the insurance...
